Assessment in summer semester 2020:

The so called “Corona-Satzung”, which is an addition to our examination regulations at FAU, allows for a one-time exception in regards to the assessment of modules and courses in the summer term 2020 due to COVID-19. Following this regulation, the lecture of the course „Foundations of International Management II (IM II) (4 ECTS, examination number 37201) will be assessed in a different way compared to the winter semester 2019/2020.

Instead of a written examination of 60 minutes with mandatory physical attendance, the course will be assessed via a report that can be written anywhere. All information can be found here:

– Form of assessment: 6-page report. The student will receive three open questions. Two out of three questions need to be answered on 3 pages each. Please do not simply repeat content from the lecture as the transfer of knowledge dealing with the specific quesiton stands at the fore.

The answers to the two chosen questions will be taken into consideration with 50% each for the overall grade. No multiple-choice questions (MCQ) are given.

– Relevant content for the report: The relevant contents equal those of the winter semester 2019/2020 which are the script, the book etc.

Period of examination: The students that registered for the report will receive their questions on 01.07.2020, 11:59am. The 6-page report is due latest on 08.07.2020, 11:59am.

– Registration: Students need to register within the allowed exam registration period via meincampus.

– Submission of report: The 6-page report has to be sent to before the deadline.
