Sino-German research cooperation, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the Chinese Research Foundation

The Department of International Management is pleased to announce a new Sino-German research cooperation, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the Chinese Research Foundation, with Nanjing University in China and the Universities of Hamburg and Bayreuth in Germany. The research cooperation will be established for a period of three years and will include multiple joint workshops and long-term research visits from Chinese researches in Germany and vice versa.

The overall objective of the project is to enhance research in the area of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development from a Chinese and German perspective. In particular, it aims to shed light on social and environmental responsibilities of Chinese and German multinational companies. Through joint research and academic exchange between project members at different career stages, this project aims to contribute to Sino-German research from a management and policy perspective.
