Guest Lecturer
Last week, the Department of International Management had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Farok J. Contractor, affiliated with Rutgers Business School, as a guest lecturer.
Professor Contractor delivered a research seminar on foreign direct investment for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers at the Department. He also shared valuable advice with junior and early-career researchers on how to identify research topics that are both relevant, impactful and personally engaging.
In addition, Professor Contractor gave an engaging lecture on Global Business in an Era of Growing Nationalism, Protectionism, and Anti-Globalization to students in the Master of Science program International Business Studies.
We sincerely thank Professor Contractor for his visit to the Department of International Management and for generously sharing his expertise and insights. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and to welcoming him again soon at FAU’s School of Business, Economics, and Society.
