Strengthening International Research and Teaching Collaborations
This week, the Department of International Management had the pleasure of welcoming distinguished guest lecturers and guest researchers in Nürnberg for enriching academic and teaching-related exchanges.
We were delighted to host Professor Muriel Durand, PhD (EM Normandie) for the fourth time. She led a highly interactive and engaging 3-day block seminar titled Global Human Resource Management and Ethical Challenges in Europe and Asia. From a pool of 55 applicants, 25 students from our Master’s program International Business Studies were selected to participate in the seminar.
Moreover, we were very pleased to welcome Professor Hinrich Voss, PhD (University of Bristol) for his second official research stay at our department. During his research stay, he collaborated closely with Assistant Professor Dr. Marc Oberhauser (Department of International Management and ESCP Business School, Madrid) on joint research projects exploring human rights in global value chains.
We would like to sincerely thank Prof. Muriel Durand, PhD, Prof. Hinrich Voss, PhD and Prof. Dr. Marc Oberhauser for their valuable contributions to our department’s research and teaching activities, as well as for their dedicated support of the department’s doctoral students.
We look forward to continuing these fruitful collaborations and to welcoming you back in Nürnberg in the near future!
